A new Washburn University Ichabod mascot, a bit leane
and more modern looking than its predecessor, debuted to positive reviews Friday morning during a brief campus ceremony outside Memorial Union.
About 150 people turned out to greet the new Ichabod as he stepped out of a Ford Excursion stretch limousine that had parked a few minutes earlier in a campus lot just south of S.W. 17th and Boswell. </description>
