Belle Late last year a strange giant egg was dropped off on Kari Rumfield's doorstep. Kari is one of the few female GMs in baseball today so you could imagine what was going through her mind when she inspected the egg that was pink with green polka dots. At first her staff wanted to crack the egg open to create the world’s largest omelet. Imagine the publicity and of course the cholesterol! Thankfully she decided to keep the egg safe and warm because the beautiful Belle was hatched in front of fans and friends of the Florence Freedom on Tuesday the 25th of March 2008. Check out the pearls. We are so proud! General Manager Kari Rumfield talking about the hatching said "It was fabulous! The hatching was fun, the kids went crazy and we love her so much."
